It was a conversation connected to a photograph that developed into much more for Kris Kinsley Hancock and Pat Woodley Hancock. In the summer of 1993, they teamed up their photography skills to do weddings, portraits, events, fine art, travel and other assignment photography. They also married and had a delightful little girl who has been well-represented in their images.

Kris and Pat have a passion for sharing their vision and helping others to preserve the special moments in their lives. They readily adapt to the varied requirements to produce successful images with subjects such as children and weddings. They photograph Photonaturalistically™ as much as practical, but are ready to respond and arrange as well. They adeptly use their digital artistry skills to complement images while maintaining their natural beauty. Kris and Pat make images using only the highest-quality materials and pride themselves on providing personalized attention to each part of the photographic process from listening to clients’ desires to creating printed work.

Kris Kinsley Hancock and Pat Woodley Hancock’s award-winning photography has been featured in galleries, publications, and restaurants on Nantucket and the world beyond. They’ve photographed events ranging from the Boston Pops on Nantucket to the Dr. Seuss National Memorial Grand Opening Dedication and Celebration in Springfield, MA. Most recently, their images of flowers are published in the Secret Gardens of Nantucket 2009 calendar. Kris and Pat are represented by the Artists’ Association Gallery of Nantucket.
